Family Promise

            Holy Trinity welcomed its first families as a Host Congregation in the Summer of 2009. Assisted by members of Beth Judah Synagogue and First Baptist, both of Wildwood, we hosted  families at The Luther Inn for four weeks, June 6 through 13, August 23 through August 30, September 20 through September 27 and October 18 through Sunday October 25.

    In 2010, we  again served as a Host Congregation, assisted by Beth Judah Synagogue and First Baptist of Wildwood,  from April 11 through April 25. 

    Family Promise returned for a Fall visit, October 17 through October 31, 2010. We were again assisted by First Baptist of Wildwood and Beth Judah Synagogue.

    We again served as Host April 3 through April 17, 2011, assisted by Beth Judah Synagogue and First Baptist, fellow Wildwood congregations. The calendar of volunteer meal providers for that period is below. Russ Rohrman, our Congregational Council President, continued his service as coordinator.

        Our current hosting period for the Fall of 2011 is October 16 through October 30. Current information is that we will be hosting two families, for a total of 4 people, one of whom is allergic to dairy products, so keep that in mind for meal preparation.  There is a good possibility that another family, consisting of three people, will be joining us starting Monday, October 17.  Check with your coordinators for the ages of our Guests and any other special needs.

Dinners should be planned for serving between 5:30 and 6:00PM.  If any of our Guests have not arrived by the time meal providers are ready to leave, those dinners should be placed in the refrigerator.

Beth Judah, First Baptist and North Wildwood Methodist will be joining us in serving as hosts for this two week period.

Revised Guest information effective October 21, 2011: we are only hosting one family consisting of one adult and one young child, with no known food allergies.  No meal is required Saturday. October 22 as our Guests will be dining elsewhere that evening.

Our Spring of 2012 two week hosting period, previously scheduled for April 1, 2012 through April 15, 2012, has been cancelled as there are no families currently in the program.

Our Fall of 2012 two week period commenced October 14 and ended October 28.  We had one family as our Guest. The congregations that constituted the Host Group for this two week period were Beth Judah, North Wildwood Methodist and Holy Trinity

Our Spring 2013 hosting period will run from April 14 through April 28.
